Pillars
Interpres is structured around three fundamental pillars:
- Threat Exposure: This encompasses an organization's susceptibility to adversarial threats. Interpres aggregates intelligence from diverse sources to compile a comprehensive list of threats, prioritized according to the organization's unique Threat Profile.
- Defense Surface: This refers to the defensive mechanisms in place within an organization to counter adversarial threats. Interpres seamlessly integrates with existing security infrastructure via a read-only API, enabling automated collection of pertinent data such as detection coverage, visibility, configuration, and overall product efficacy.
- Asset Exposure: This pertains to the vulnerability of an organization's assets and other components to adversarial threats. Interpres employs automated data collection mechanisms, facilitated through a read-only API connection to the organization's security products, to continually assess and monitor assets and vulnerabilities.
By effectively leveraging these three core areas, Interpres empowers organizations with enhanced situational awareness, offering a threat-centric perspective of their security posture. Users gain the ability to meticulously explore each facet, identifying and substantiating risks with empirical evidence. Ultimately, the amalgamation of these core areas culminates in the computation of the Exposure Score, providing a holistic measure of an organization's risk exposure.
