Add an AI Generated Widget
The AI Generated option lets you describe what you want to see in plain language and Interpres builds the widget for you automatically.
Note: This option is only available if it has been enabled for your role. If you do not see it in the menu, contact your administrator.
Step 1 — Open AI Generated
Click Add Widget in the dashboard header, then select Add AI Generated.
Step 2 — Describe What You Want
Type a plain-language description of the widget you need. You do not need to use technical terms — just describe the information you want to see.
Examples:
- "Show me the top 10 alerts by severity from the last 7 days."
- "Display a chart of detection activity grouped by technique."
- "Give me a count of active identities with high-risk scores."
Click Generate when ready.
Step 3 — Review the Generated Widget
Interpres analyses your request and builds a widget based on it. A preview is shown before it is added to your dashboard.
- If the result looks right, click Add to Dashboard.
- If it is not quite what you expected, adjust your description and click Regenerate.
- Use Back to cancel and return to the widget menu.
Step 4 — Position and Resize
Once added, the widget appears on your dashboard canvas. Drag it to position it and resize it from the edges to fit your layout.
Tips
- The more specific your description, the better the result. Include the data type, time range, and how you want it displayed if you can.
- You can edit the widget after it is added if you want to fine-tune filters or the visualisation style.
- If AI Generated is not available, use Add Custom Widget to build the same result manually.
