Vendor setup

The user linked to the API Key needs to have the "Reader" role.

Account admin or user with the appropriate permissions workflow

  1. In the Cloud Security Console, open the Account Users page. For details, see Manage Account Users.
  2. Locate the relevant user and click the ellipsis in the Actions column, and then click Edit.
  3. Click the API keys tab to access the API key settings.
  4. Click Add API key to generate the API ID and Key. It is recommended to add a name and description to an API key to indicate what it is used for.
  5. Copy the details from the popup window. Once the pop up window with the generated ID & key is closed, you will no longer be able to retrieve the key.

User workflow (limited permissions)

  1. In the Cloud Security Console top menu bar, click Account > My Profile
  2. Under API keys, click Add API Key to create a new key.
  3. Copy the details from the popup window. Once the popup window with the generated ID and key is closed, you will no longer be able to retrieve the key.

App Configuration

App Parameters:

  • Base URL (string): The URL to the source instance using the following format https://my.imperva.com
  • API ID (string): API ID
  • API Key (password): API Key

App Validation

Check there is connectivity (green light) in the integration created.

Implemented Actions

  • get_alerts: Returns a list of alerts.
  • get_detections: Returns a list of Imperva Cloud WAF security rules.
